If you’ve ever worked with a personal trainer before, maybe at a gym or your house, what was your experience like?

I’ve worked with clients before that have had a personal trainer and they didn’t really bother with them.

They did the session with them and that was it.

No interaction between sessions, no changing their routine, no progressions being made.

Now I would like to think you reading this have either had a better experience or if your considering working with me you won’t expect that level of service.

Initial appointment

We need a starting point so initially we’ll just have a chat, see what your goals are and see if we are a good fit for each other.

Then from what you’ve told me in your appointment I’ll make a 90 plan for you, breaking it down in to little chunks so you don’t get overwhelmed and you’ll find it manageable to achieve the things we have set out together.


This is the part most people struggle with but I’m going to make it as easy I can for you, we’ll go through my healthy recipe books and make a food plan from there.

Don’t worry, you won’t be eating celery sticks and rabbit food all day.

I’ll make it easy to follow and include foods you enjoy, as well as building in time for social events you may have as well.


So what do we do?

Well at first we’ll do a mini assessment, see how you move, what areas we need to improve on and then from there I’ll create a plan that’s totally personalised to you.

From the warm up to the way you perform an exercise.

Each client of mine comes with something different, whether it be an old injury or a health issue, there is always ways of working round it.

I’m not going to be that guy that shouts at you either.

That’s just not me.

Of course I encourage and motivate you but I honestly don’t think people need to be or want to be shouted at.

I will also make the workouts as fun and enjoyable as I can.

Will it be hard work?

Of course, but anything worth having in life is hard work.

On the same hand, it is meant to be enjoyable as well because otherwise you’re not going to come back and taht means you have to start over again and you don’t want that.
